University College offers a tuition incentive to those current educators seeking graduate work in their field of study.
Each semester, 100 educators are awarded UL Lafayette Teacher Tuition Incentive. A portion of the tuition is waived, provided that the teacher meets the set requirements. Students MUST be enrolled in graduate school, taking graduate courses in Education, and earn at least a C in the course. The money is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The State of Louisiana also offers a program to help teachers with their tuition. The Teacher Tuition Exemption Program is distributed by each individual parish at their own discretion. For more information on this program, contact your local school board.
