Our program allows those not actively seeking a degree to take UL Lafayette classes with world-class faculty, on the beautiful Lafayette campus.

Dedicate yourself to a lifetime of learning

Enthusiastic lifelong learners are always welcome. UL Lafayette is dedicated to offering learning opportunities for the 60+ community and has several programs designed to help older students easily attend classes in a broad range of interests.

This is YOUR Time to Learn

University College provides access to hundreds of UL Lafayette's classes, as well as non-traditional academic programs, to individuals for academic credit, but not currently seeking a degree. We are the gateway to higher education for non-traditional students, offering a simplified admission process.

University College extends educational opportunities to individuals whose age, location, or employment circumstances prevent enrollment in traditional degree-seeking programs. We serve students through different programs, such as the High School Dual Enrollment program and the DOORS (Diversified Opportunities for Older and Returning Students) Program, which provides services to non-degree seeking applicants who are 21 years of age of older.

University College also provides educational opportunities for post-baccalaureates, auditors, and professionals seeking further study in their fields.

Join the UL Lafayette community today and experience the joie de vivre that comes from a lifetime of learning and live life to the fullest!
